I've mentioned anxiousness on my blog and social media a fair bit lately. Mainly because I want individuals to know they CAN get some relief naturally!
Essential oils can be overwhelming and daunting. Because, let's be real...there are THOUSANDS of ways to use essential oils! I have no shame admitting one of my issues is being an anxious mess, a hot mess, and...yes, an ALL AROUND mess at times. That's what happens when you're a working mom and wife, right? Right.*Fist bump* ;)
One way to get a lot of different essential oils in your system is blends. BLENDS. BLENDS. What is a blend? Just multiple oils mixed together. A lot of people ask, "Well, how do you know which oils to blend together?", "How many drops should I use of each oil I use?", "Do you dilute it?"
Here's the answer. Just go for it, people! There's really no "wrong" way to use essential oils. If you like the smell of Lemon and Rosemary essential oil together, do it! Both oils have incredible benefits so just USE them.
I found this Anxious Mess blend and label at a store called Aroma Tools. Fun fact-this label pack (for only $3.00) comes with 9 other labels and recipes which include: Hormonal Wreck, Singing the Blues, Anger Management, Calm + Focused, Chillaxin, Ego Boost, Memory Loss, Stress Less, Study Session. The nice thing about purchasing blend labels at aroma tools is they have the suggested oils/recipes (for each blend) labeled on the sticker! WOOT WOOT! Makes all our guessing jobs a lot easier. This particular Anxious Mess blend calls for Bergamot, Roman Chamomile, Frankincense, and Fractionated Coconut oil. About 6 drops of each, fill the rest of your bottle with fractionated coconut oil and you're GOOD. TO. GO.
Where do I find my empty roller bottles? Aroma Tools. I usually get everything that doTERRA doesn't sell (roller bottles, spray bottles-for cleaning products and bug spray, usage guides, information packets, etc.) from either Aroma Tools or another company called Oil Life.
Where do I apply this blend? I always diffuse these 3 oils in my diffuser so I'm constantly breathing them in all day. I also apply on the bottoms of my feet (largest pores in your body, the essential oils will hit your blood stream within 30 seconds!), chest, temples, and back of neck. Yes, I go around smelling like a damn flower tree. I'd rather smell like essential oils than feel anxious all day! Can I get an amen?! Ha!
So go make some blends, and have fun using those essential oils!
